INDUSTRIES

Methodology is universal. Operating reality is not.

Decision intelligence does not deploy the same way in semiconductors as it does in CPG. Our principals lead engagements only in industries where they have personally run the operating cycle we are being hired to fix.

Semiconductors

The decision that matters:capacity allocation under demand volatility, lead-time risk, and customer hierarchy. The wafer is committed before the order is firm.

What makes it hard:forecast volatility is structural, not anomalous. The cost of being wrong is asymmetric — overbuild burns cash, underbuild loses the slot.

Represented in our work: AMD, NVIDIA, Maxim, Atmel, TE Connectivity, Anritsu, Epson, STL.

Life sciences & medtech

The decision that matters:make-to-order configuration, regulated supply, and service-level commitments to clinical use. The product is configured per patient, per protocol, per site.

What makes it hard:variant configuration, regulatory traceability, and a service miss has clinical consequences — not just commercial ones.

Represented in our work: Sun Pharma, Varian Medical Systems.

Consumer packaged goods

The decision that matters:trade promotion, inventory positioning, and demand shaping across thousands of SKUs and a fragmented retail surface.

What makes it hard:every node in the channel runs its own logic, and the manufacturer carries the working capital risk for all of it.

Represented in our work: PepsiCo, Unilever, Dabur.

Industrial & high-tech manufacturing

The decision that matters:capacity planning, sourcing concentration, and multi-tier supplier risk under geopolitical exposure.

What makes it hard:lead times are long, suppliers are concentrated, and the cost of a disruption shows up two quarters after the disruption itself.

Represented in our work: Siemens, SBD, Tesla, Dolby.

Technology & enterprise hardware

The decision that matters:order promising, configure-to-order, and revenue recognition under complex commitment patterns.

What makes it hard:pipeline-to-revenue conversion is non-linear, and the finance organization needs forecasts denominated in revenue, not units.

Represented in our work: NetApp, OCP.

We do not take engagements in industries where our principals do not have operator pedigree. If you do not see your industry above, write to us anyway — we will be honest about whether we are the right firm.

Industry presence reflects where GitaCloud principals have personally led decision-system work. We do not list industries we do not deeply know.

The methodology is universal. The principal on your engagement has lived your industry.
