WHAT WE DO · THE CATEGORY, NAMED
Decision intelligence is the third layer of the enterprise stack. We build the muscle that runs it.
From a periodic forecast to a continuous, learning, accountable decision system. The platform is VYAN . The muscle is GitaCloud. The two compose into the only thing that actually changes the P&L: an enterprise that decides better, faster, and more accountably than it did last quarter.
Where decision intelligence has been
- 01·
The ERP era (1990s–2000s)
The system of record was built. Transactions were captured. The books closed. Decisions still happened in spreadsheets and in meetings — the system stored what had happened, not what should happen next.
- 02·
The planning era (2000s–2010s)
The system of planning was built — S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, MRP cycles. The cycle reconciled the functions. But the cycle was monthly, the futures were single numbers, and the decisions were renegotiated every cycle. The meeting replaced the math.
- 03·
The dashboard era (2010s–2020s)
Control towers lit up. Forecasts got better. ML models were bolted on. Visibility improved. Decisions did not. Tuesday morning at 8:42 a.m. still had 412 fresh exceptions and no memory of yesterday’s 380.
Where decision intelligence is
Decision intelligence is the category that replaces periodic planning with continuous, probabilistic, accountable decision-making.
The shift is structural, not incremental. Variability is the signal, not the noise. Plans ship as distributions, not point estimates. Decisions emit continuously as the network state changes, not on monthly cycles. Every decision carries its reasoning. Policy controls what auto-commits and what routes to a human. The system learns from realized outcomes and gets smarter quarter over quarter.
This is what VYAN is. It is also what every category-defining analyst, operator, and academic has been describing for the last five years under different names. The category is real. The platform now exists. What is missing — and what most enterprises still underestimate — is the operating muscle to actually run the category.
Where decision intelligence is going
Inside the next 36 months, every Tier 1 enterprise will have a decision intelligence layer — either built, bought, or in flight.
The category is no longer optional. The board-level question is no longer whether to build it. The board-level question is how to become the kind of enterprise that can run it.
That is a transformation problem, not a software problem. It involves redesigning how the functions decide together, where decisions live, how they are governed, who owns the tradeoff, what value gets tracked, and what gets escalated to a human. None of that ships in a license. All of it is GitaCloud’s work.
The enterprises that compound the advantage will not be the ones that buy the platform fastest. They will be the ones that build the muscle deepest.
What we mean by “enablement”
Enablement is not training. It is the operating model.
When we say enablement, we do not mean a two-week training course on a new tool. We mean the redesign of how an enterprise decides — across people, process, data, technology, and value tracking — so that the platform becomes the way the enterprise actually runs, not a parallel system that planners work around.
That work happens across five practices. Each one is a service. Together they compose into a Decision Center of Excellence — the enterprise’s permanent capability to keep getting better at deciding.
| Practice | What it produces |
|---|---|
| Roadmap | A board-defensible 90-day diagnostic of where decisions break, what the leakage is worth, and the sequence to fix them — anchored in the P&L. |
| Pilot | A 12-week value pilot on real data. Defensible numbers. A decision policy the enterprise has signed off on. A platform decision the enterprise can defend. |
| Implement | The build. Data, integration, decision policies, governance, change management, value tracking. Anchored in adoption from day one — not at go-live. |
| Run | Continuous tuning, governance, and value tracking as a managed service. The platform stays sharp. The decisions keep compounding. |
| Decision COE | The in-house capability. The team, the playbook, the cadence. Stood up with GitaCloud, run by the enterprise, augmented by us as needed. |
The integration story
Decision intelligence sits above your stack — and the data has to earn its way up.
A decision intelligence layer is only as good as the signal it consumes. That signal lives across ERP, planning, MES, WMS, TMS, CRM, supplier portals, syndicated data, contract terms, and a dozen spreadsheets the controller refuses to give up. Pulling it all together as a semantically rich, decision-grade layer — not a raw data swamp — is half the work of making the new category deliver.
We treat this work as a first-class practice, not an afterthought to the implementation. We design the data product. We audit the data. We use AI to surface anomalies, fill semantic gaps, and propose canonical definitions. We do not pretend a data lake is a decision layer.

The middle layer is where most enterprises lose six months. We do not.
THE SIBLING SITE
The platform is VYAN. The transformation is GitaCloud.
If you have already evaluated the category and want to see the platform that operationalizes it, vyan.ai is the deep technical site. The architecture, the AIR posture, the SAGE companion, the Decision Twin — all of it.
